Celebrating Pride Month: Embracing Diversity and Inclusion

June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate the diverse identities and experiences of the +2SLGBTQIA community, advocate for equality, and promote acceptance and inclusion for all individuals regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. In our directory, you'll find a variety of programs and resources from +2SLGBTQIA-affirming healthcare providers and mental health services to support groups and community centers. We strive to provide a safe and inclusive space for all individuals to access the care and support they deserve.

Important Update: Mind Space Group Registration Deposit Increase Effective June 1, 2025

Starting June 1, 2025, the registration deposit for Mind Space mental health support groups will increase from $65 to $75.

This deposit, which is refundable, is collected to encourage consistent attendance and to help support the long-term sustainability of our MSP-funded program. Participants will receive a full refund as long as no more than one group session is missed.

Mind Space remains committed to accessibility. If the deposit presents a financial hardship, patients can reach out by contacting hello@mind-space.ca to explore accommodations.

New! Opioid Treatment Access Line

Opioid Treatment Access Line is a dedicated service designed to support individuals seeking immediate access to opioid agonist treatment (OAT). This resource connects people to same-day treatment options, including methadone, Suboxone, and other forms of medication-assisted therapy.

The Opioid Treatment Access Line is staffed by experienced professionals who provide guidance, referrals, and support to individuals navigating opioid use treatment options. Whether you are looking for help for yourself, a loved one, or a client, this service ensures rapid access to the care and treatment needed.

Richmond residents who need a Family Physician (FP) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) should visit the Richmond Health Connect Registry to register for the Richmond patient attachment waitlist. You can also register family members or people in your care. To register, you will need to provide the Personal Health Number (PHN), B.C. home address, and contact information for each person being registered. The current approximate wait time will be displayed when you register. You can also update Health Connect Registry contact details by dialing 8-1-1 (7-1-1 for those deaf or hard of hearing). A HealthLink BC health service navigator will ask for the Personal Health Number(s) for each account being updated.
